Functional Description:

Consists of four expandable plug assemblies used to seal the stand pipes in the fuel tanks and the fuel dump chute nozzle during leak check of the fuel jettison system The plug assemblies consist of a molded synthetic rubber plug mounted between an upper and lower plate The lower plate is welded to an adjusting bolt The upper plate is free to move on the bolt as an adjusting nut is tightened Tightening the adjusting nut depresses the upper plate and expands the rubber plug A warning streamer is attached by a cable to each plug assembly A bag is provided for storage of the plug assemblies
