General Description:

This item replaces serd 910021, P/N17G910021-1, life raft folding metal plateThe folding process requires fourmetal plates.Plates are made from aluminum and have an anodized finishAll edges will be radiused to protect life raft from damage.During raft folding each metal plate is placed on top of analready folded section of the life raftThe remaining portion of the raft isthen folded.After folding pressure is applied to the folds and the nylon material is flattened and smoothed outAfter this is done the plates are removed and the raft folding process continues without using the metal platesIn addition the plates are used to compress the raft into the rigid container.Two plates are placed on top of the nylon compression plate and two additionalplates on the bottom side of the container.The weight of each plate is 26LBS, operating temperature is 32 to 125 degrees f
